- Lesson completion records (lesson ID, WPM, accuracy, mistakes)
- Practice session history and timestamps
- Your personal statistics (best WPM, average accuracy, streak count)
- Achievement unlock status
- User preferences (sound settings, theme preferences)
Analytics Data:
- Vercel Analytics: Anonymous page views and performance metrics (no personal identification)
- Ahrefs Web Analytics: Anonymous site usage statistics (no personal identification)
What We DON'T Collect
- ❌ No user accounts or registration
- ❌ No email addresses or contact information
- ❌ No server-side storage of your typing data
- ❌ No tracking cookies
- ❌ No personally identifiable information (PII)
- ❌ No third-party advertising trackers
Where Your Data Lives
Local Storage Only
All of your typing practice data is stored exclusively in your browser using:
- IndexedDB: For lesson history, statistics, and progress tracking
- LocalStorage: For preferences and settings
This means:
- ✅ Your data never leaves your device
- ✅ We cannot access your practice sessions
- ✅ You have full control - clear your browser data to delete everything
- ✅ No server backups or cloud storage
Analytics Services
We use minimal analytics to understand how the site is used:
- Vercel Analytics - Anonymous page views and performance metrics
- Ahrefs Web Analytics - Anonymous page views only, GDPR compliant
Your Rights and Control
You Can:
- ✅ Clear Your Data: Use the "Clear All Data" option in your profile settings
- ✅ Practice Offline: Once the page loads, you can use lessons offline
- ✅ Use Without Tracking: Analytics are anonymous and don't identify you personally
No AI Data Processing (Currently)
TypeMaster Academy currently does NOT use AI services or send any data to AI providers.
If we add AI features in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your explicit consent.
